| When I get my new connection Feb 16, I was thinking of getting a capture card. If you want when and if I get a capture card would you like me to do some vid tutorials for your DROME? | |

| Damn, Dump. The Prolouge and Chapter 1 of D.R.O.M.E are very well put together. Sounds like a professional "how to" book when I read through what you have so far.
Also, I had something to add along the lines of keeping objects with the terrian. In the Edit Object lower left hand menu theres two icons at the bottom, they're a Triangle with a House next to and an arrow.
The icon with the arrow pointing upwards means when moving an object it will go up and over hills or down with valleys. The icon with the arrow pointing left mean the object will just pass through the terrain, keeping it at the level you placed it at.
I think that added in there somwhere will be another good tip. One for moving objects around terrian and One for moving terrian around objects.

| Also you should pin the actual DROME topic to the top... | |

| This works well when trying to build with objects that do not snap together.
Place and rotate the obect your going to be using then of to the side find something that does snap together. Keep the non snapable object highlighted along with the snapable object and build with the object that snaps together and when your done you will have the same shape with the object that does'nt snap together.

| Make everything flush. Using the snap tool turn a snapable object so that it snaps at a ninety degree angle, then turn snap off and slowly move the piece so that it lines up perfect with the other one. | |

Concrete blocks are snapable but stuff like, um, beems aren't. So I use the blocks to make the beems line up?

Concrete blocks are snapable but stuff like, um, beems aren't. So I use the blocks to make the beems line up? Here is an example.... Let's say I want to build a cylinder with the beams. 1.Place the beam upright along with the small concrete wall.(make sure both are facing the same direction and the wall is away from the beam). 2.Keep the beam and wall highlighted then snap, cop, snap, copy, ect. Keep doing this untill you make a complete circle. 3.When your done you will have made a perfect cylinder with the beams, the only thing left to do is join the corners of the beams together. Hope this helps, I am not the best at explianing things.
