Forza 2 - Series races?

Has anyone thought of doing some series races? If so I would Be down to race any class besides R's, and I think It might be a good way to get people interested in our other Forza 2 activities...

Yes, I am down for this. We need a reliable Forza 2 event.

I was thinking that maybe do like 5 races with, depending on the length of the track, 4-5 laps. Change Car Class Weekly, play lesser played tracks ie: Nurburg, Some Reversed, Shorter versions.

I dont have any ideas on day and time, I don't know about some people but I would like to see a somewhat filled room.

p.s. I just had an idea - maybe we could be like a points tally for all the racers to see who the monthly winner is. Make it a little bit more competitive trying to get the overall win.

Ok Now I'm excited, this event is going to be pretty cool! After some creative "Brainstorming" Stretch and I came up with some realy great Ideas for our race teams to battle it out over rank in series races. We need to come up with some sort of leader board or a way to aknowledge the top racers.

Other than that the races are going to be constructed each week based on a variety of high and low track dificulty, so you might want to think about the car your racing for the tracks involved.

I dont think we discussed collisions or damage but I think it would be a good Idea to leave these on for this sort of challenge but I guess we will have to furthermore decide.

Other than that I want to know how you guys feel about the Series Race Idea?

I figured it would be a good idea to list all the tracks, except the reversed versions, and their length in miles. It would be easier to setup Series events by knowing the length of the maps.

Grim, me and you need to get together and figure out each tracks difficulty.

I also had a few more ideas, since most of us tune our cars to be around B and/or A Class I figured we should throw in an S Class for one "Race Day" a month. Grim you said something about racing anything but R's, but i was thinking we should only go up to S Class'.

The more I think about ways to make this more interesting and fun, I get more excited about it. I was also thinking thats we (the event runners and promoters) should give something to the monthly overall winner. Stuff within Forza such as a Custom Car, or Some Amount of Credits seeing as it could be a way to bring more racers into the events.

Now, to me the MOST important detail is the day and time this event will run. Seeing as how normal people have school and/or work I was thinking maybe Fridays, but than if theres PSS and Cat & Mouse, that would be a Forza weekend for some. Although I think we will most likey have a better turnout on Fridays, other might want to do other things. Any and All Feedback on this one is more than welcome.
